Do You Want To Learn How To Figure Skate

Roller skates are outdated. It is very rare that skates with two wheels in front and two rear wheels are used. Inline skates, on the row of four wheels, seem to have completely replaced the old version of skates. They need a little more balance and make it easier to change direction to the turns or avoiding obstacles. The design is very similar to blades on ice skates. So does that mean that you can ice skate if you know how to inline skating, or vice versa? Is it possible to learn to ice skating and roller? If you learn, you learn automatically the others?

Not necessarily. Learning to balance on skates is the first lesson you learn. Balancing techniques are slightly different from ice between the blades and wheels. In rollers, the balance can be easily achieved as long as the wheels are in motion. Once you are able to stand, you can start rolling. The fineness of the soil can vary from heavy friction almost slippery ice. It takes a lot of force to push the skates and hold up your weight on a rough surface and is the best way to start. Once you've mastered the movement, you can go to a rink where the ride is smoother, and you'll be able to skate faster with practice. It is easier than it is on roller skates, because there is more resistance and fewer opportunities to slip and slide.

Ice skating is more difficult because of slippage factor. The ice is incredibly good, and you must learn to balance on the ice. There is less control of your movement, because the blade slides and any angle on the ice. Controlling your weight and your speed should be adjusted, if you know how to roller. Another challenge is being able to stop. It is extremely difficult to stop on ice once you've gained speed, and you can not stop short because you can switch. You must slow down gradually and angle of your blade to create more friction between your foot and ice. (the other option is to start in the wall) When you're on the ice it is almost impossible to stay still. On rollers, you have breaks, and you can very well stop the wheels.

Based on the striking similarity of the design of inline skates and ice skates, I suppose if we learn to skate, they can easily learn another, but it will not be exactly the same thing.

Thus, it is certainly possible to learn one or the other, but it will not come quickly. Both types of skating have their unique characteristics and it is important to practice when learning of an activity like this. Do not just assume that it will be easy. It will be easier than if you did not learn to skate at all before the experiment. If so, stay near the wall and wait.
